Benefic Planets
(A) Jupiter:
Out of nine planets Jupiter is the most benefic planet of all. (This is Guru or say teacher). It has got the most sober nature and is too polite, liberal and sympathetic. It is religious. and true devotee. Its color is yellow. Its metal is platinum and gem. Yellow sapphire. It governs the nothe-east direction. Third in order of benefic planets. It is cold, calm and a quiet planet and lovers peace. Its element is silver and gem pearl. Its colour is white. It governs north-east direction. It always needs to be mothered.

Malefik Planets
(e) Saturn:

Its element is mild steel and gem is blue sapphire. Its directions is west. (F) Mars
Second in malefic series, Mars is a soldier and has a tendency of counter attack. Since it has got an offensive tendency, it is a planet of stamina and energy. (G) Sun:
Third in malefic series, Sun is the King or the head of any society or country. Its color is red. Though like Mars, Sun too has got a good amount of anger in its nature but there is a difference between the two. Mars’s anger longs but Sun’s anger is momentary. Its element is a gold and gem ruby.
Sun looks after, soul. Fater king , children, self control, will power, life glory, health, forests, mountains, anger, fire ambition, deiscipline, sovereignty, clothes, woolens and textiles.
It produces chairmen, presidents, governors, leaders, discoverers, excavators, welders, cloth merchants, and gold-smiths etc., in body it governs eyes, heart and upper portion of abdomen.
RAHU AND KETU
Like the ascendant Rahu and Ketu both are points and do not possess any mass unlike other planets. As the lord of ascendant is the lord of sign in which the ascendant falls, similarly the lord of the Rahu and Ketu would be the lord of the signs in which they ail. For Rahu and Ketu would be the lord of the signs in which they fail. For example suppose Rahu falls in 7th sign and as we know that 7th sign belongs to Venus. Rahu shall give the results of Venus i.e. about the houses Venus becomes lord in one’s horoscope according to Venus’s position either it is weak or strong. The same is with Ketu Hence they will reflect the results of the lord of the sign in which they fall.
Even then they have some common influences, which are quarrel some. Mood, mental disturbances, sudden-injury, losses, thefts, death of any member relating to the house in which they fall.
They give and take the things suddenly as their effects are sudden. Such people usually get money through lottery. Gambling or speculation. Similarly theft, accidents, heart attack, paralysis, fits etc., are the troubles which occur suddenly. These two planets are responsible for them. The nature of Rahu is almost the same as that of Saturn. Ketu too has the same nature but is less harmful The colour of both is black .The gem of Rahu is gomed and of Ketu is Cat’s eye
